I don't know what this is in mathematical terms so I'll try to give an example in engine terms.
I fire a projectile with a <gravityfactor>RANGE (1,5)</>
The <interval>Range (0.25,3)</interval>
Interval will allow us to preform actions over specified times, so every 0.25 - 3 seconds it will reselect a gravity factor from the predefined range, thereby altering its physics calculation in the engine mid flight.
For even more fun we could add a <fixed>true</> tag for the interval node, which would lock in the chosen value after the specified amount of time has passed. Would create wonderfully random outcomes.
Anyway, just an idea I had the other day. Seemed somewhat worth noting for possible future use.
