So I've been busy recently.....

And was wondering if you guys would like pre-release verisons of these models.

The problem is they aren't textured yet... (Texturing has always been the hardest thing for me)

I didn't actually vote yet, but err, a yes vote would be one way to get the texturing done faster i guess (but not by me. i dunno squat about modeling yet)

I've beening doing some modeling and I understand what your going thru with texturing. I still don't understand how they get the single texture map with all the textures on it to map the way it does on some models. (seagull for example) I voted for keep texturing, but they look good so far!

If you're using Milkshape, go to Window, Texture Coordinate editor to arrange the aspect of the texture on the model parts.

And I vote for no on that poll. I'd rather wait until you skin them.

I know about that... (it's faster to use ctrl-t to get to that window).

It's just for a lot of my stuff I can't use/find a 3-view for the texturing, and go from several photos instead. (ie. The Skoda M11 - which I can only find in black and white anyways) So I end up having to man handle textures manually, which is a pain.

It wasn't that hard for things like the cannon tower, and the hawk missile system, but for these models it's a little bit more difficult. (they're a little more complicated, and my photoshop skills have atrophied.)

The one thing I wish milkshape had was a button to return the texture coords to the original way it was before you transformed it with a view. Sometimes I'd like to have the unwrapped default view again.
